The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) recently opened what has been labeled as “The House of Science” at its new headquartes in the Valencian Community.
Alongside with other authorities, both Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Pedro Duque and the President of the Generalitat Ximo Puig, attended this event. Amongst the world of science representatives, President & CEO of SPB, President of Quimacova and member of the Strategic Committee of the Valencia Innovation Agency, Miguel Burdeos also attended the opening ceremony.
Miguel Burdeos had the opportunity to talk to the Minister directly and discuss the main needs and challenges that science is facing, specially in chemistry. He also gave massive value to the contribution that chemical companies in the Valencian Community have towards economic growth.
Minister Pedro Duque stressed that Valencia is „a land of talent and knowledge, well known for its entrepreneurial vocation. Its commitment to science and innovation is very clear“.
