With support from the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI), SPB will develop a new type of detergent capable of modifying fabric properties to protect them against stains.
The R + D department will study the incorporation of active ingredients that will improve the performance and properties of conventional detergents and minimize the use of water and polluting chemical compounds.
To carry out this new project, SPB is closely collaborating with The Institue of Chemical Technology (ITQ), a reference research center of mixed ownership between the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia and the CSIC.
This new technology will therefore maintain clothes cleaner for longer as well as reduce the number of washes. Likewise, other aspects like fiber protection against wear and maintentence of colour will also be considered.
For this industrial development, SPB will obtain through this agency a grant of around 88,000€. The results of this project will have direct impact on the benefits of laundry detergents and on the environment.
SPB is committed to sustainability and works towards developping new household and personal care products which are not only inniovative but also respect the environment. Green growth.
