It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Miguel Burdeos Baño at the age of 74 as a result of the devastating effects of the DANA that has devastated the province of Valencia.
Miguel Burdeos was founder, managing director and currently held the presidency of the company SPB. He was also founder and current president of Cleanity and promoter of other business initiatives.
In addition, Mr. Miguel has been a prominent figure in the chemical and cleaning products industry, holding the presidency of several key entities in the sector: President of the Association of Chemical Industries of the Valencian Community (QUIMACOVA), and of the Association of Detergents and Cleaning, Maintenance and Related Products Companies (ADELMA). His role in these institutions was fundamental in consolidating the growth and development of the industry in our region and throughout the country, always promoting responsible, innovative and sustainable practices. He was a member of FEIQUE, of the plenary of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce and of the CEOE, among other entities, and vice-president of the Valencian Business Confederation.
His management style and impeccable ethics have left an indelible legacy. His closeness, generosity and commitment to his team were always an example, motivating us to build a work environment characterised by respect, cooperation and constant innovation. Miguel Burdeos’ imprint in each of these areas is, without a doubt, a heritage that we will continue to honour and preserve.
Commitment, innovation, efficiency and the pursuit of excellence
These values, those of the companies he so passionately founded, are the values that identified him as a person and as a businessman. Born in Valencia in 1950, he was a true entrepreneur from the very beginning.
Little by little he turned Suavizantes y Plastificantes Bituminosos, the current SPB, into the great company it is today. The same happened with Cleanity, which he founded a few years later. Economic crises, fires and other serious problems did not slow him down and he continued to work to build powerful, high-quality companies that are committed to their people and society.
His wife and his three children, as well as the great family of SPB and Cleanity, have lost the memory of a good, honest, generous, hard-working, enterprising, intelligent and hard-working man who has left an indelible mark. From the companies that he built with so much effort and dedication, we will continue to promote his legacy as the best tribute to his life and career.
