Ruth Rodríguez, SPBS’s InHouse Corporate Lawyer has received the CESCOM® Compliance certification issued by ASCOM, the Spanish Compliance Association. It’s a professional certification that guarantees that the receiver has precise knowledge in the field of Compliance.
The CESCOM® certification is approved by the Compliance Associations International Federation (IFCA), of which ASCOM is member. IFCA gathers compliance associations from different countries all around the world and currently counts with associations from USA, Ireland, Spain, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa and South Korea.
Ruth Rodríguez, as Compliance Officer or Regulatory Compliance Officer at SPB, is responsible for supervising and managing all issues related to regulatory compliance; identify risks, analyze changes, determine preventive and / or corrective measures, amongst others. Most importantly, she promotes a culture of compliance by involving everyone in the company. In her own words, “ethics is the soul of SPB, as its heart is its employees and its engine is its activity”.
