SPB Global promotes the STEAM Chair of the Social Council of the UPV to attract women to science and technology degrees.
The Social Council of the UPV has launched the STEAM Chair. The aim is to contribute to the participation of women in science and technology by increasing their presence in these degrees as well as to encourage the participation of companies, institutions and entities interested in promoting these careers. SPB Global, committed to equality and social responsibility, has promoted this initiative by joining it along with 19 other companies.
The initiative is aimed at joining forces, seeking synergies and promoting projects that contribute to shaping an education and training system that eliminates gender stereotypes associated with certain vocations and professions in a project to promote female empowerment in STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics), as reported by the Social Council.
The president of SPB Global, Miguel Burdeos, has signed the adhesion as patrons to this Chair, which aims to focus on reducing the gender gap in these disciplines.
