On June 7th, SPB’s purchasing manager, José Miguel Zorrero, took part in the “Purchasing: Successful Models in the Valencian Community” conference organized by AERCE (Purchasing and Stockholders Spanish Association) and the Fullstep consultancy at the Hotel Las Arenas in Valencia.
During this conference, to expose the importance of the purchasing function each of the companies involved (Gestamp, Natra, Haya Real Estate and SPB) spoke about their experiences. This meeting about innovation in purchasing aimed to identify the needs of professionals and purchasing departments of companies within the region and, at the same time, provide solutions and tools that facilitate their development and empowerment.
José Miguel Zorrero explained the advantages of the Certification for “Standard of Purchases UNE-15896: Management of Value Added Purchases” has for companies. SPB is currently working to certify itself in this standard and thrive purchasing management to excellence and align them with European management standards.
