SPB has been promoting one of the most welcoming and successful corporate volunteering projects for the last 2 years, both among the company's employees and the organizations we support.
The Magic of Chemistry’s aim is to show children and teens that chemistry can be fun, different and surprising. Our volunteers visit schools, associations, institutions, reception centers, etc. so that these children and teens, some of them in danger of social exclusion and other problems, escape form the difficult reality they face and enjoy chemistry.
The first workshop we organized was in September 2015, we also participated in this activity in 2016 and this year has been the most active of them all, showing the interest people have in this initiative.
After realizing the success of “The Magic of Chemistry”, the company decided to record a dozen videos corresponding to the 12 months in a year. Each video explains the experiments we re-create with children so that other segments that can’t participate due to timing, distance, availability, etc. can also enjoy them at home.
