On 12th March, SPB hosted a blood donation at its SPB Valencia facilities. As they do every year, the healthcare staff of the Transfusion Centre of the Valencia Region set up a small “field hospital” in the canteen of our Innovation and Development Centre so that all SPB employees who wanted to could do their bit to help save lives.
Donating blood is an altruistic act that costs very little, but is invaluable. One bag of donated blood can save up to three days. The role played by the Transfusion Centre of the Valencian Community is really important to supply hospitals and blood centres for all those who need it.
That is why we at SPB Global want to help them to continue doing this great work, providing our space and also making it easier for the SPB Global family to donate blood at least once a year.
