SPB appears in the Global Compact report « The business sector in light of the 2030 Agenda ». This publication is a direct request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the voluntary examination which Spain submitted to this July in the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.
This report includes a starting point for the Spanish private sector in relation to its role within the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, the achievement of the SDGs and their goals. In addition, a work schedule for the private sector has been proposed for the upcoming years, which sets commitments, demands and alliances for the companies to reach the SDGs and, finally, a list of good business practices that exemplify the multiplier effect that business actions can have in order to comply with the 2030 Agenda.
Precisely, SPB appears in this last section with the lead initiative, People who Shine (in the report they mention Valencia Brilla but the model has already evolved to People Who Shine). A healthy organization model that has been proposed as a mission to promote healthy organizations within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Goals through engaging with people. The objective is to be a reference model for companies and ethical and healthy organizations and together achieve excellence in sustainable economic, ecological and social development.
